Too funny, after church, kids head out to grammas house for a sleepover!! well, Delaney had been complaining of a tummy ache. After a quick stop at Walmart, Gramma had to head back home because Delaney was in too much pain and crying!! I knew it wasn't anything major ...no fever, and no tenderness to the touch, Jon and I were both convinced it was just gas. Well, sure enough, an hour later, after a nice BM, she's ready to go to grammas house now!!! whew!!... that was close, since we are looking forward to a night out without kids!!! whew hooo!!!!!

Well, we contracted with Liquid Extreme Pools and Spas to do our pool!! Today we are (ok, Jon and "Pappa") cutting down the trees in the backyard in preparation. Deegan is thrilled to be a part of that! About 30 days from getting the HOA approval, and we'll be swimmin!! (if all goes well).

Wow, we had a great "social" last night....lots of hot wings!!!! Hope everyone had fun, but we talked
too much to be able to play our game~!! (Balderdash) We had a great day shopping for plants and pots, then kids school clothes shopping, that part, not so much fun@!!(alone, without kids)
Kids were at Grammas overnight!! Deegan got do dig and shovel all day w/ Papa. They got the stump out! While Delaney and gramma painted and did laundry and I'm sure other "fun" things. Then we had dinner together@!! It's great that we can do that now. Very happy that they moved here. We are going to be making a decision regarding our pool soon!!! pretty cool!
Only ONE MORE week till school starts!!!! Wow@@!!! I'm ready (i think?).

Well, we closed on our land sale yesterday. Just waiting for the $$$$$$$.
We are excited to pay off stuff, and start building the pool!!! yippeee. Oh yeah,
We have to save some too!! We are getting ready for school to start in just over a week!!!
I am looking forward to a fun filled fall!!! Terry is coming 1st week in October, and then
Joyce is coming for Thanksgiving!! Maybe we'll be swimming by then!!! Oh yeah,
we can swim till December@!!!! "eat your heart out"///just kidding.heheee

San Antonio

Kids and Parents, and I went to San Antonio for a mini vacation. We stayed at the Hyatt
Hill Country Inn. It was lots of fun, kids had smores everynight, and there was a lazy river, beach and 4 pools. We had horse and carriage rides and Kids "camp" for 1/2 day. Lots of fun. And the best part was that Ben (cousin) was in town for the week, so we got a chance to catch up w/ him!!!

Kristins wedding

There was fun had by all in Salem for Kristin and Dereks wedding!!
Deegan was really "cuttin a rug" out there on the dancefloor. Delaney was a beautiful flower girl...and Deegan got to ride on the tractor at Jamey's house!!!

Our Oregon/California trip

We went to Oregon for Kristin's wedding......then drove down through the Redwoods,
with stops in San Fran, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Hearst Castle and Buena Park.
We had fun at Knotts and checked out the beach too. Had lots of fun visiting Andy and family too.

I'm just trying to figure out this "blog" thing, but i figure it is a way to share
about what we're up to.
If anyone cares (family, freinds?) We are in the process of selling our land and
staying in our current home!! We will be "debt free" (thanks Dave!!) and we would
like to put in a pool.
I am planning a spring break cruise for March 8th! I've got group space held on Norwegian Spirit, visiting the ports of Costa Maya Mexico, Santo Tomas de CAstillo (Guatamala) Belize City and Cozumel. Let me know if you want to join us!!!!!!
