We are still doing well, cleaned up the front yard yesterday. Hooked up the fan to jons car battery last night so we could sleep. Today, Jon had a guy bring some generators from Dallas, so we have our fridge hooked up! and we have fans...etc..
So we are more comfortable. We do have running water so showers are good!! and our hot water heater is gas and we have that!! Not sure when we'll get power, but for now we are set! there are still 1.99 million people in the Houston area w/ out power. Its incredible! Yesterday we drove around a bit to see some of the damage...Most faired pretty well, but there were some unfortunate people. Most trees missed homes by inches from what we saw, however, we did see a few w/ giant trees on top of cars and homes!!! it's still raining, if it would stop, things could dry up. We are supposed to get down in the 60s at night this week, so that is indeed a blessing!! God is definately on our side during this.!! Our land line (phone) is currently down, but our cells are working. Thank you all for your prayers, they worked!!
