We are planning a trip to Palestine, Texas on Friday, December 19, 2008. The Texas State Railroad has a "Polar Express" trainride that looks fun for the kids! Kelly (my brother) will be in town and so far a bunch of us from our "Life group" (sunday school) are interested. Here is the link. It is at night and kids should wear the "jammies", and since it will be kinda late, we will stay in Palestine, there is a La Quinta there for 59.00 per night. Let me know if you're interested and we can start booking rooms and hopefully get the train tkts for a whole group to be in the same "car".
